Consider profiling your job class on our website! We are proud to announce we’ve retained freelance journalists Lizzy Nyoike and Chris Juhn to work with us to interview, photograph, and write about our members and their work to ensure Hennepin County residents can meet their basic needs.
Lizzy is a media content creator for shikonyoikemedia, a journalism student at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities Hubbard School of Journalism & Mass Communication, and a freelancer with work published in Mshale, a publication serving the African community, as well as the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder and Power 104.7.
Chris is an award-winning Twin Cities photojournalist whose local and international work, including that of the Twin Cities activist community, has been published locally in Racket, Sahan Journal, and the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder, as well as internationally.
