WHERE: Our Union Hall, 312 Central Ave SE, 2nd Floor; Minneapolis, MN 55414
The Member Action Team (MAT) is a network within our Local for communicating, organizing, and mobilizing our members. We gather and disseminate important updates and actions around critical times and issues such as contract negotiations, safety concerns, a change in working conditions, and much more!
Lunch and light breakfast items will be provided. PLEASE RSVP!
IMPORTANT:
- You will be paid your wage for any hours you lost from work time to attend the meeting, as well as parking and mileage. We will have the forms for you to complete and turn in at the meeting so you can be paid.
- PARKING : On street: University side is only 50 cents an hour most spots. Across Street: Parking ramp. SAVE YOUR Receipt ( electronically or in paper) to submit for parking reimbursement.
- Please bring your work computer as we may be doing work on it at the meeting.
IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST MEETING:
- You will need to fill out a W4, a Direct Deposit form, and bring a copy of your paystub – ALL to be submitted at the meeting. (Please find W4 and Direct Deposit forms are below)
- Sample communication with supervisor: “Greetings, I will be attending a full day union activity on (DATE). I will be coding my apex as SLWOP—Special Time Without Pay” (or Vac or PTO)
